Igitur non dormiamus sicut ceteri.

A Special Day

Today we celebrate the Solemnity for Our Lady of Czestochowa, an icon I have a particular devotion and love for. She is the queen and protectress of Poland, and it is my personal belief that it is because of her prayers on behalf of the Polish

people have accomplished such great feats in the 20th century. With the image and example of John Paul the Great, the Polish are the “new Irish” in sending so many priests to many places. May God continue to bless such a nation.

It is her prayers throughout the centuries that have kept Poland Catholic, and her prayers that will protect Poland from the secular thinking that is trying to invade.
